Shortfilm, helicopter explosion VFX

Shortfilm, HVFX - helicopterPOV

Did some basic testing today with the helicopter POV scene. We decided to keep the rendering to a minumum, so we went with only a decreased occ (only 28) but with full 2 frame motion blur. We then added grain, deapth fog, deapth blur and vector distortions in fusion to make it look more like a IR camera. We also keyed some deapth focus nodes and bloom to distort the scene even further. Finally we tracked the low polly charachter wich also had a very basic runcykle animation. The ‘‘aim’’ is made simply out of pollygon masks in fusion.
