gsCEPT is part of Lulea University of Technology and we offer educational programes in computer graphics art, game development and game design.

We are located in Skelleftea, in north Sweden. We first started the CG program in 1995 as a one year educational program, one of the first programs in Europe. Since then we have been working with the industry to improve the courses every year.

In year 2000 we expanded the program to a 3 year BSc degree program, and at the same time we started a new BSc degree program in game development. This was also done in close cooperation with the industry and based on IGDA's frame work.

Our main goal is to educate professionals for game and visual effects industry. Which we have done in many years, many of our graduated students are working as professionals at visual effects and game companies with all kind of movies and games.
